St. Jude Parish Fair

posted Mar 21, 2013, 6:02 AM by Matthew Caillouet

St. Jude Parish is our Pack's chartered oganization and we as a Pack should provide at least one service project per year to the Parish as part of the requirements for being a "quality unit".  The fair is a great time to fulfill this requirememt.  We have been asked to work two (2) booths this year.  We are asking every family to volunteer with your scout, a minimum of 30 min. in one of the two booths, or more if you would like.  It is important the boys learn about community service and what a fun way for them to do that!  Attached is a sign up sheet with the times available.  If you would like to sign up prior to Sunday, send me an email to let me know the time you would like.  Time slots are first come/first serve.

We would also like to provide a "basket" for the fair auction related to our ministry of scouting.  The committee thought that an ice chest (which will serve as our basket) filled it with camping "essentials" would be a great item to auction!  Attached is a list of items we think would be good to have in the basket and many of these items are fairly inexpensive.  If you would like to donate an item, please let me know and I will update the list and resend to everyone as needed.  Feel free to bring your donated items on Sunday and we will add them to the "basket".

Thanks so much for all of your support, we could not be a successful Pack without you!  As always, please let me know if you have any questions.
